Plænen - The Open Air Stage

Once again our summer team is delighted to welcome singer and actor Caspar Phillipson as host of our Tuesday events this year. He has played leading roles on major stages, most recently in Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth at Østre Gasværk Theatre, and last year he played John F. Kennedy in the Hollywood blockbuster, Jackie.
This August and September, Caspar Phillipson is joined on-stage by Sinne Eeg, who recently received Queen Ingrid's Honorary Grant, worth DKK 250,000, at an awards ceremony in Tivoli. The jazz singer has a huge fanbase both in Denmark and abroad, and her seductive vocals are sure to lift the atmosphere on the Open Air Stage.
Together with the Tivoli Salon Orchestra and conductor Peter Jensen they will offer Danish classics such as Dansevisen and Hvorfor Er Lykken Så Lunefuld as well as jazz pieces, including some from Sinne Eeg's own repertoire.
