Information about COVID-19

Last updated 1st of July 2020

Tivoli is following the development of COVID-19 closely, and our most important priority is the safety of our employees and visitors. This means that we are following all the recommendations of the Danish Health Authority, and we encourage everyone to pay attention to hygiene and use hand sanitiser. All employees who have spent time in risk areas will be sent home for a period of 14 days after arriving back in Denmark. We also encourage you to not visit the Gardens if you have visited a country in which COVID-19 is spreading within the past 14 days.

Tivoli is initiating new precautions to assure a safe visit for you, and we recommend that you read these before your visit to the Gardens.

We are happy to announce that we extend the summer season until 4 October.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Gardens again.

We would like to thank you for the extensive loyalty you are demonstrating as a Tivoli Pass holder. Please know that your support is invaluable.

As a Tivoli Pass holder, you are entitled to compensation for those days in which Tivoli's summer season has been shortened by order of the authorities. Compensation is calculated based on your pass type and the number of opening days you have lost in 2020. Some examples are shown below.

If you wish to support Tivoli at this difficult time, you can choose to disregard the opportunity for compensation.

This support from our loyal Tivoli Pass holders means a lot to us, and helps to ensure that we can once again meet to enjoy culture and fun in Tivoli.

A big thank you to all our visitors for your patience, trust and support.

Example 1:
You have a Tivoli Pass subscription, which is due for renewal on 31 October 2020. You will lose 53 days including the extended summer season, and are therefore entitled to up to DKK 67.45 in compensation.
