Tivoli is following the development of COVID-19 closely, and our most important priority is the safety of our employees and visitors. This means that we are following all the recommendations of the Danish Health Authority, and we encourage everyone to pay thorough attention to hygiene and use hand sanitiser. As a consequence of recent guidelines and restrictions from the Danish government in relation to COVID-19, Tivoli has decided to postpone the summer season opening of the Gardens until 16 April.
All employees who have spent time in risk areas will be sent home for a period of 14 days after arriving back in Denmark. We also encourage you to not visit the Gardens if you have visited a country in which COVID-19 is spreading within the past 14 days.
The Danish government calls for all restaurants to close down until 13 April. It affects a number of places to eat in and outside Tivoli:
Especially regarding Tivoli Food Hall
Tivoli Food Hall is currently closed to guests due to the government's tightened regulations on restaurants and eateries.
The Danish government calls for all indoor events, with more than 10 attending, to be canceled over the next two weeks. Due to this circumstance certain shows will be affected.
Especially regarding Friday Rock
Tivoli has decided to postpone the summer season opening of the Gardens until 16 April. Unfortunately, this also has implications for this season's Fridayrock concert schedule. Though regretable, the most important thing is to look after each other, and we're looking forward to hosting a lot of great concerts when the situation allows. Meanwhile, this site will be updated with the latest progress.
Especially regarding"Midt om natten"
Tivoli, Langkjær Entertainment og Live Nation has decided to postpone Midt om natten until Spring 2021. Further information will be sent straight to affected customers’ email addresses.
Especially regarding "MAMMA MIA!"
Patrons who have purchased tickets for MAMMA MIA, will recieve further information from production company as soon as possible.
Especially regarding the Tivoli Youth Garden, Tivoli Music School Tivoli Ballet School
All events and activities related to Tivoli Youth Garden, Tivoli Music School and Tivoli Ballet School are canceled from March 12 and for an indefinite period. This also applies to the show ‘The Tivoli Youth Garden and H.C. Andersen’. Further information will be sent straight to affected customers’ email addresses.
Especially regarding ”Ballet Gala in the Tivoli Concert Hall”
Her Majesty the Queen has decided that all the royal house's planned activities and events in connection to the upcoming 80th birthday in April will be canceled as a result of the spread of Coronavirus. As a result, Tivoli’s celebration of H.M. The Queen on Saturday, April 25, 2020 has been canceled. The same goes for "Ballet Gala in the Tivoli Concert Hall" on April 25 and 26. All affected guests are contacted directly through the mail they have used for the ticket purchase. The presentation of Queen Ingrid's Grant of Honour will take place at a later date.
Especially regarding ”Smørrebrødsfest på H.C. Andersen Slottet”
The event ‘Smørrebrødsfest på H.C. Andersen Slottet’ on 4 & 5 April 2020 has been rescheduled for 29 & 30 August 2020. If you have bought a ticket for April, we will contact you for a ticket change or refund.
